Hello everyone! The launch of my website, Phirmography, has been a success beyond expectations: in just over two days, we surpassed 2,000 visits. A heartfelt thank you to all of you for your incredible support!
In my second article, I would like to tell you a bit more about myself and the equipment I have used over the past three years since I started this fantastic photography adventure.
Let's start with a confession: I haven't always been passionate about photography. As a child, I hated being photographed and considered it a waste of time to stop and take photos. But how wrong I was!
As I already mentioned, I started taking photos to find an excuse to get out of the house and take a break from work. When I bought my first camera, I had no intention of creating an Instagram page or a website. I simply wanted to explore the world around me. I didn't want to spend too much and knew nothing about the used market, so I bought a new Sony a6000, complete with the 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 kit lens.
Soon after, I felt the need for more zoom, so I purchased the Sony 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6. This lens won me over with its sharpness, optical stabilization, and compactness despite the wide focal range. From that moment on, it practically stayed glued to my Sony a6000.
I used this camera with great satisfaction for about a year until I realized that photography had become a real passion, not just a hobby. So, I decided to make a small upgrade to my equipment. I will tell you all about this upgrade in my next article, so make sure to come back and stay updated. Additionally, tomorrow I will post a triptych of photos taken at Lake San Domenico on Instagram!
Below are some of my photos taken with the Sony a6000. Click or tap on the images to view them at full resolution!
Thanks again for your support and enjoy the view!
